Established in 2024 by Agne and Rita, Empress began as a simple idea – a shared workspace for two passionate professionals. What started as a spontaneous partnership quickly blossomed into something much bigger than we imagined.

In less than 12 months, Empress has grown into a thriving team of 12 talented specialists, offering a wide range of hair and beauty services. From classic treatments to the latest trends, we cover nearly every aspect of the beauty industry – and we're always expanding our offerings to bring even more to our clients.

Thanks to the incredible support from our community, Empress has rapidly outgrown its original space. We’re proud to now welcome you to our larger, brand-new salon in the heart of Redruth Town.

Cancellation Policy

Notice Period
We kindly require at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us enough time to offer the slot to another client.

Consequences of Late Cancellation or No-Show
If an appointment is canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice or missed entirely:

A fee of 100% of the service cost will be charged.
Repeat occurrences may result in:
- Lower booking priority
- A deposit required for future appointments

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation – it helps us run efficiently and respect the time of all our clients and team members.

Empress Team at the Booksy European Manicure Competition – A Historic Win!

On the 19th–20th of July 2025, half of our Empress team traveled to support Julia in Tenerife, Spain, where she competed in the Booksy European Simple Manicure category—her first time entering this prestigious competition.

The event brought together some of the most talented hairdressers and stylists from across Europe and the USA. Our team had the incredible opportunity to network with these top professionals during presentations and celebration moments. We exchanged social media and stories, which left us truly inspired and more driven than ever to elevate our own work and align with the latest European fashion and beauty trends.

Amid this vibrant and competitive atmosphere, Julia delivered an exceptional performance and took home First Place—earning the title of Best Manicurist in Europe! She competed against 12 of the finest nail artists from countries including the UK, Spain, Poland, and France.

This victory was not only a personal triumph for Julia but also a monumental moment for our entire team. It marks a significant milestone in her career—opening new doors and bringing her closer to her dream of becoming an educator in the industry.

The Empress Team and management are incredibly proud of Julia and remain committed to supporting her journey. Her talent, dedication, and ambition reflect everything we stand for.

Julia is a European Nail Championship Winner-1st place at best manicurist in Europe. She is a professional nail technician and has been in the industry for over 6 years now. Julia specialises in gel extensions and her main priority is keeping your natural nails healthy whilst achieving a beautiful end result.

Agne

Meet Agne — Co-Owner & Manager of Empress Hair and Beauty

Agne is the proud founder and co-owner of Empress Hair and Beauty, where she leads both the business operations and beauty services with passion and precision. Her beauty journey began just over seven years ago — a path she embraced wholeheartedly and has never looked back from.

Today, Agne is recognized as one of the highest-rated Nail Technicians and beauty professionals in the area, known for her exceptional skill, attention to detail, and dedication to client satisfaction.

In addition to her hands-on beauty expertise, Agne brings over 15 years of experience in Management, Finance, Human Resources, and Law. Her strong background provides a solid foundation for running a successful and client-focused salon.

Educational Background:

Law and Management degree (2006–2009) – Lithuania
AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) qualification (2012–2015) – United Kingdom
Various additional NVQ certifications supporting her current roles in the beauty and wellness industry

As both a beautician and day-to-day manager, Agne plays a central role in the business. She is fully equipped to address any client inquiries, business-related questions, or operational needs within the salon.

With a strong combination of business acumen and creative talent, Agne continues to elevate the standard of beauty services at Empress Hair and Beauty.

Proffesional make up artist.

Make up is Karolinas passion and hobby. She can offer make up for any occasions from simple to very vibrant look. She works closely with her fiancé Audrius who is offering photography, Rita for Hair, Agne or Julia for Nails and beauty.

Hello! My name is Rita and I am the co-owner and senior hair stylist of Empress Redruth.

I have started my journey as a hairdresser in 1996 and can admit that hairdressing is my biggest passion. I absolutely adore watching how my work changes how people look as well as how it makes them feel about themselves. I like to stay up to date with current trends and techniques to ensure my clients get the best service possible, therefore I regularly attend seminars and various training. My biggest priority is keeping my clients hair healthy whilst achieving the colour and style desired by each individual, therefore I only use highest quality products. I offer endless list of services and I am proud to be one of the most experienced hair stylist around.

Eve

I am fully qualified beautician and aesthetics professional and have been in the industry for over 3 years now.I am a perfectionist who thrives on customer satisfaction. Making my clients feel comfortable during their time with me is one of my biggest priorities. There is no time limit when it comes to the services I provide, I will take as long as needed to achieve the best results possible whilst making you feel comfortable and at ease. I like to stay up to date with all the training possible to ensure I only provide the best quality services whilst using highest quality products.

A little bit about myself and how I ended up where I am:
Originally from Lithuania, I moved to the UK in 2012 after graduating from school at the age of 19. I am a talkative, easygoing person, especially once I've had my morning coffee!

While Cornwall has been my primary residence since 2015, I do travel quite a lot, especially to Eastern Europe.

Although I really enjoy being out in the field shooting, What I do I take very seriously, making client's needs my first priority. Documenting everything interesting to me in my own vision has been and still is my passion.

While my portfolio is diverse, ranging from portraits to events, I mainly enjoy documenting people and their emotions. On that note, I'll be expanding into the wedding industry in 2025!
